Terms of Service

Appstro is an independent App Store optimization and market-research tool. It reads publicly available App Store data and presents it alongside estimates, scores and AI-generated suggestions. It is provided free of charge, as-is.

Appstro is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by or in any way officially connected to Apple Inc. App Store, iOS, iTunes, Apple Search Ads and Apple Intelligence are trademarks of Apple Inc., registered in the U.S. and other countries. All app names, icons, screenshots and trademarks shown on this site belong to their respective owners and are displayed for identification and commentary.

Much of what Appstro shows is inference, not fact. Specifically:

• Download and revenue figures are third-party estimates. They are not official Apple data and are frequently wrong, sometimes by a wide margin.
• Keyword difficulty, ASO scores, opportunity scores and Apple Search Ads bid scores are our own heuristics. They are relative signals for comparison, not measurements.
• Rank data is a snapshot from a specific storefront at a specific moment. App Store results are personalised and change constantly, so your own results may differ.
• AI-generated titles, keywords, descriptions and critiques are suggestions produced by a language model. They can be inaccurate or unsuitable. Review everything before submitting it to App Store Connect.
• Apple publishes no competitor bids, spend or performance for Apple Ads. Its EU ad repository lists which ads ran in EU storefronts, and our Apple Ads library page shows those records, but nothing on this site reveals what any advertiser paid. Any figure presented as a competitor’s cost is inference from public data, never a real bill.

You are responsible for verifying anything you rely on. Do not treat Appstro output as financial, legal, or business advice.

You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for everything done through your account. Provide accurate information when signing up. You may delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms, particularly the Feedback Exchange rules below.

You agree not to:

• Scrape, crawl or bulk-extract the site, or use automated tools to place unreasonable load on it or on the upstream services it depends on
• Attempt to bypass rate limits, authentication, row-level security or any other access control
• Resell, redistribute or republish Appstro data as your own product or dataset
• Use the service to break the law, infringe anyone’s rights, or violate Apple’s Developer Program License Agreement or App Store Review Guidelines
• Upload credentials, keys or account access belonging to someone else

The Feedback Exchange is a product-critique board. It is deliberately not an App Store review exchange, and it must never be used as one.

Trading, buying, incentivising or soliciting App Store ratings and reviews violates App Store Review Guideline 5.6.3 (Discovery Fraud) and the Apple Developer Program License Agreement, and can get developer accounts terminated. Posting anything of that kind endangers other people’s accounts as well as your own. It is grounds for immediate removal and a ban.

Additional rules:

• Give real, specific feedback. Minimum-length rules exist to stop low-effort farming, not to be gamed.
• AI-drafted feedback must be edited into something genuinely yours before it is submitted.
• Do not post abusive, harassing, deceptive or off-topic content.
• Posts reported by multiple users are hidden automatically pending review.
• By posting, you grant other users on the board the right to read your post and respond to it.

If you supply your own AI API key, you are responsible for all usage and charges incurred on it. If you connect an Apple Ads account, you remain solely responsible for your campaigns, budgets and spend. Appstro never places bids, changes budgets or spends money on your behalf, and is not liable for any advertising spend or campaign outcome.

Appstro is a free service with no uptime guarantee. Features depend on third-party endpoints outside our control and may break, be rate-limited, or be withdrawn without notice. We may change, suspend or discontinue any part of the service at any time.

The Appstro name, site design, code and original written guides are ours. App Store data, app names, icons and screenshots belong to their respective owners. Feedback you write on the Feedback Exchange remains yours; you grant us a licence to display it on the site.

The service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Appstro and its operator are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for lost profits, lost rankings, lost revenue, wasted ad spend, or App Store rejections or account actions, arising from your use of the service. Because the service is provided free of charge, our total aggregate liability to you is limited to zero.

Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

We may revise these terms as the product evolves. The effective date at the top reflects the current version. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept it.

These terms are governed by the laws of Bangladesh, and the courts of Bangladesh have jurisdiction over any dispute, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protections available to you in your own country of residence.
